I really wanted to 5-star love this top because I was hype for something less cropped that wasn’t a bodysuit (don’t love the onesie feeling). Unfortunately, I have a couple qualms:
1. The Ice version and the Cinnamon version in the same size have VASTLY different fits. I got a Large in both, but it’s like they are from different brands. It was a literal fight to get in and out of the Ice, and it mashed my girls down in such a rigid, unflattering way. I have a tummy, so the end of the shirt cinched at the absolute worst part of my muffin top no matter how I tugged it up or down :( the sleeves were very tight as well; I felt like I was trying on my little sister’s clothes! The Cinnamon was the complete opposite. Fits like a really comfy baby tee (still short for those wondering, but could meet your pants if they are mid-ish rise) and the arms are accommodating of my chicken wings. I’m not sure if maybe this was just a manufacturing error /mislabel, but I’ll be returning the Ice. Tragic because it’s my favorite of the colors and complements my skin so well :( I’m also a bit hesitant to try the other colors or reorder Ice if there’s a 50/50 chance of fitting. I can’t tell which is the accurate sizing for Large
2. Because of boobs & the aforementioned tummy, all of these core fabric tops roll up on me pretty frequently; I’ve come to terms with it for the warmer weather tops, but for this tee I can see myself getting frustrated with my shirt rolling up on a cold day/ under other layers. If it were a tad longer, or maybe had the skirt’s grippy stuff at the bottom, I think this could be a perfect shirt. As it is though, I’m kinda giving Winnie the Pooh every time I raise my arms or sit down. Maybe this is just a reality for girls with muffin tops, but for the price it’d be nice to have a shirt that stays put.
TLDR: Happy to have a Cinnamon tee that in general fits nicely, sad to have to return the same-sized Ice tee because it’s cut too small
